A very funny and dark tale of growing up in war torn country.
The author brings you to her life , her tears , her insecurities , and fear.
It ends with a note of hope. This was the only french film I wanted to watch over and over again.

This was a good book. It certainly was up to the standard of the first book.
I hope this becomes a more popular title. Along with all the other good paranormal fiction books for teenagers.

A very fast paced thriller. No extraneous text and boring details.
It fills in the blanks from the other Eve stories.

LOVE , LOVE , LOVE.
The w\hole plot has finally changed ! There are new characters , new problems. Hamiltion doesn't just make the whole story revolve with the story of the supernatural beings. She give Tammy , Rolph , Zerbrowski and Ronnie important roles that make her fantasy more real through a lively exciting cast. Anita explores the true meaning of her love for Asher. Anita struggles to mantain a relationship with Dolph because of her dating Jean Claude and Micah. Ha ha , but he doesn't know about Nathaniel or the werewolves , oh boy .Anita is like most protagnist of supernatural thrillers and romances , because beyond helping and saving the creepie crawlies ( as she would affectionally call all her friends) she has a career , family ,like , dislikes and ambition. Characters like the Twilight Saga's Bella Swan and L A Bank's Damali Richards can't compete with Anita because they don't have a cast of believable characters to support them , and they aren't motivated by anything except slaying vampires ( for Damali ) and becoming a vampire. And well I am really biased because I think Bella is stuck up and stupid for wanted to be a vampire , instead of alive with Jacob . I want to stake Bella. Anyway this novels thrills and gives you a chill just like the other novel beforehand , but we finally see for sure that Richard well not accept Anita. Richard doesn't like himself for being a werewolf. And Richard finally takes charge his pack. But long well it stay stable after he nearly killed Sylvie < I don't think much longer. I love how Jean Claude is becoming more of a secondary character in Anita's life. She isn't completely devoted to him and she hasn't even really noticed that. She started out with just him , but is this her final choice , well read the book and find out/Be prepared to be boggled , to ow and awe and cry , and laugh at Hamiltion's continued funny and always charming view of a modern vampire slayer and Nimir Ra trying to stay sane.LOVE , LOVE , LOVE.

Honestly I am just giving this series two stars. Basically every novel is the same , there are two "enemies" to defeat or out smart in each novel. The main characters have little to no trouble defeating them , and if they do poor them , the boring story arc takes up three more scrolls. in the nert graphic novel. In between the two story "arcs" the story of the main characters Inu Yasha , Kagome , Kikyo , Naruku , Kiroku and Sango is very underdeveloped to preserve the series and keep a pretty static plot. The only reason this has become such a fan phenomenon over night is because the action and passion in one graphic novel is quite exciting and can fool you into believing that something really amazing is happening. Not so , this is the moral equivalent of a Friends episode in feudalistic Japan trying to being deep and actually worth something. But no matter how hard either stories try with such two dimensional characters they can't be hard hitting and meaningful. These novels have great artwork though , you van tell each panel is had drawn and not computer generated through copies of a few hundred hand drawings. And the author also give you alot of stories based on actual Japanese myths.
iF the author stoped lagging the plot after the first book and tried to end somewhere around book twenty , then this much actually be worth the time to read it. The author should have tried keeping Feudalistic Japan as the setting , but changed the main characters every 10 books , and add a few new major plot lines. What do I mean by that ? Well what I mean is finish the Inu yahsa shikion jewel plot lin in the first 10 books , then keep some of the characters from the first 10 books but make the plot completely different based on a new set of completely unrealeated charcters in the same setting.Honestly I am just giving this series two stars. I got so confused by book 11 , so I am starting again at book one. BUt this is such a great series. it should really be classified under adult for such mature themes ; adult relationships , hate , jealousy , family feuds , and sort of modern vampire monarchy. I would love it if it were adapted into books. The high fantasy and excellent art work makes it very difficult to concentrate on the plot some times. Not that I am against good art work , but they should simplify the art work a little bit to make it easier to read as a whole.
HA ha , if this was published 25 years ago Laurell K Hamilition and Kelley Armstrong , would have loved to read it ! Word to the wise though Laurell K Hamiltion's book aren't for the faint of heart , even me the hardened , jade reader had trouble understanding and accepting : the graphic sex scenes , necromancy , gore , and extreme violence. Here books make this series look like good kids play pattie cake in pre school.
Oh another disclaimer ; there are plenty of down right cruel , sadistic , amoral , and narcissistic villains in this story that aren't vampires. Oh and all of the vampires actually drink blood from humans, they would pretty much become renevants if they just drank blood from animals like our precious Cullen Clan from the "Twilight Series." And they can
t walk around during daylight because they are "dead" to the world in a way , as soon as the sun rises they go into breathless sleep until the sun goes down and the moon rises. Teen fiction creates dainty , unrealistic vampires , which is so disrespectful to the original myths of vampires.I got so confused by book 11 , so I am starting again at book one. Well honestly I found it kind of boring :( I would have been more interested if the author gave you more background on the other characters in the novel. If the listener doesn't infact care or like Clare Henry , then they sound just stop listening as soon as possible. While the secondary characters are involved in Clare's and Henry's relationship there is little known about them . Except for Henry's Dad and Clare's parents. Ever chapter felt like it had the same sub plot repeated over again. Even though the book shows the relationship through Clare's time frame from her childhood to adulthood , it just doesn't captivate me at all. But I the one thing that made me actually listen was the themes ; adulthood , eroticsm ,love , and long distance relationships. I wanted to know what Clare and Henry's ending was not because of any superior plot , or exciting scenes , but because when I closed my eyes the writing convienced me they were at one time real. But Clare and Henry aren't a very interested couple . And story lulls because you don't really get any action untill near the end when Clare has three failed pregnanices and Henry is forewarned of his death. If the author decided to make his characters more lively and three dimenisional this would have been a story worth reading over and over again , like Pride and Prejudice or Oliver Twist. My advice Audrey retake a writing class and actually ask people what they alike to read in a story that makes it hard hitting , and meaningfull.Well honestly I found it kind of boring :( I would have been more interested if the author gave you more background on the other characters in the novel.
