Celebrate National Engineering and Geoscience Month 2021 by joining the virtual Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition!
The goal of the contest is to construct the strongest bridge possible with only 100 Popsicle sticks and Aleene's Tacky Glue or Elmer's School Glue. Everyone can participate. Due to Covid-19 no supplies will be handed out this year.

Bring your completed projects to the Brighouse Branch of the Richmond Public Library sometime during the week of April 12-16th. Due to Covid-19, bridges cannot be accepted after April 16th.
View the event on April 30th to see how strong your bridge was. Amazon gift cards will be awarded to the top 5 strongest bridges.

You will need: A working email, a computer, smartphone, or tablet with a microphone and a webcam.
Photo Procedure: Library staff may take photos and videos to be used for promotional purposes by the library. If you would prefer not to have your picture taken, please speak to a library staff member. Participants of online programs and events are asked to not take screenshots and/or record programs.
