Learning Together is an 8-week program that helps parents and children, aged 3 to 5, build a love of reading together and improve literacy skills using the alphabet, numbers, stories and active play. Digital and physical literacy components are also included.
The program is designed for parents and children to participate
together and the focus will be on communication skills as well as
activities that families can do at home, reinforcing the joy that comes
from reading together. All materials and resources will be provided.

Participants must attend all 8 sessions. Registration required.
For this virtual program, we'll be using Zoom. If you haven’t used Zoom before, click here for a video tutorial. You will need: A computer, smartphone, or tablet with a microphone and a webcam. A working email address is required for registration. A link will be sent to you within 24 hours of the program start. Photo Procedure: Library staff may take photos and videos to be used for promotional purposes by the library. If you would prefer not to have your picture taken, please speak to a library staff member. Participants of online programs and events are asked to not take screenshots and/or record programs.
