Smartphone Photography with Richmond Nature Park

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Richmond Nature Park

Description

Learn to take beautiful photos using just your smartphone! We'll start by learning a little bit about your camera and Photos app. Then we'll learn about the iNaturalist app from the Richmond Nature Park, which uses your photos to identify plants and animals. Once we've learned how to use these tools, we'll walk some trails in the Nature Park and take photos. Participants are welcome to stay in the park after the program has finished to continue practicing taking photos. The park's picnic area will also be available to anyone who wants to bring a lunch.

Registration is required for this event.
Registration will open on Wednesday, September 14 at 12:00pm.

Photo Procedure: Library staff may take photos and videos to be used for promotional purposes by the library. If you would prefer not to have your picture taken, please speak to a library staff member. Participants of online programs and events are asked to not take screenshots and/or record programs.
