Come to the library to celebrate the New Year of the Rabbit!

The Chinese New Year Celebration aims to provide an educational opportunity for children and adults to experience traditional Chinese cultures and activities during the holiday season.

The event will bring together both visual and performing Chinese arts from the local Chinese community in Richmond, including:

• Performances, such as Lion dance, Puppet show, K-Pop, Chinese folk dances, Costume show. 
• Hands-on activities and demonstrations of Chinese calligraphy and painting, face painting, compass demo, crafts workshops, Sing-Along
• Games such as Marbles & Chopsticks, Photo Op, Dim Sum Memory Game, riddles, and passports for children

Performances will be from 3:30 - 5:00 pm; Sing-Along will start right after performances and last 20 minutes; Games, crafts and demos will be available from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. 

No registration required, drop-in.

• 现场展示：包括罗盘展示、书法、绘画等等。
• 文化亲子活动及游戏： 包括大家一起唱新年歌曲、脸部彩绘、折纸、灯谜、 筷子夹弹珠、早茶点心记忆游戏、传统食物配对游戏、儿童护照等。

时间：星期五，2023年2月3日 下午 (表演: 3:30-5:00；大家一起唱新年歌曲: 5:00-5:20; 游戏、手工作坊和展示：3:30-6:30)
