What you need to know before attending:

  • Tidal licenses must be purchased prior to the event.
  • Rods and tackle will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment.
  • Personal Flotation Devices (PFD) are not required and will not be provided. If you would like to have one for the program, please bring your own.
  • We will be meeting on-site at No. 2 Road Fishing Pier in London Wharf Park (AKA: London's Landing).
  • Please dress for the weather, as this program will occur rain or shine!
  • Important! Please ensure you arrive on time as the introductory information on fishing techniques and ethics are important to your participation in the hands-on fishing portion.

Getting to No. 2 Road Fishing Pier:

  • There is a small gravel parking lot next to the pier, and there is street parking at various locations along Dyke Road.
  • Most of the walking paths to the pier are gravel.
  • The 402 bus route will take you to the nearest bus stop at Moncton and No. 2 Rd., a 15-minute walk from the pier.
