Description

Please count ALL family members who will be attending when registering.

The expectation is to attend all 5 sessions.

Bright Babies is a 5-part workshop and storytime for babies and toddlers and their parents/caregivers designed to model ways to read, talk, sing, and play with children ages 0-18 months. Through modelling, sharing early literacy tips, small group activities, and discussions, the sessions will provide information on early literacy practices for parents and caregivers to help them support their children’s early language and literacy development. The enhanced storytimes will include a component focused on parent/caregiver education as it relates to early learning development and parent-child well-being to promote parent-child bonding and to ameliorate the effects of toxic stress on young children.

Photo Procedure: Library staff may take photos and videos to be used for promotional purposes by the library. If you would prefer not to have your picture taken, please speak to a library staff member. Participants of online programs and events are asked to not take screenshots and/or record programs.
