Experience the magic of Cantonese opera from behind the curtain!

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Witness a live makeup demonstration as artists prepare for their
performances. English-speaking narrators will explain the meanings behind colors and designs.
Participants are welcome to come and go as they observe the makeup process unfold.

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: Enjoy a bilingual PowerPoint presentation (English & Cantonese) that
delves into the art and history of Cantonese opera, followed by engaging demonstrations of
performance techniques and fight choreography. The workshop will conclude with a live
performance of a Cantonese opera, showcasing the artistry in action!

走進粵劇的幕後世界，親身體驗這門藝術的神奇魅力！

上午11:00 – 下午1:00：觀賞 現場化妝示範，藝術家們將現場化粧，講解員（英語及粵語

）將為觀眾解釋不同色彩的象徵意義與粵劇角色的特色。參與者可自由進出，隨時觀察粵

劇妝容從無到有的變化過程。

下午1:00 – 2:30：活動將以 雙語（粵語及英語）PowerPoint 介紹 開場，深入講解粵劇的

藝術與歷史，接著示範 粵劇表演技巧及武打動作，最後以 粵劇現場演出 作結，讓觀眾親

身感受粵劇的舞台魅力！
