In April, we’ll be reading Bone and Bread by Saleema Nawaz. It follows two estranged sisters, Beena and Sadhana, as they navigate grief, identity, and belonging after their parents’ deaths. Set between Montreal and the prairies, the novel explores memory, family fractures, and resilience, revealing how trauma and love shape their lives over the years.
