Description

Are you a newcomer looking for:

  • Canadian volunteer work experience?
  • Information about library and other community services?
  • A way to give back to your community?
  • Better communication skills?
  • More confidence?
  • New friends and connections?
  • A better understanding of your community?

Become a Library Champion!

Library Champions Project is a three month volunteer program. Through the project, Library Champions will gain a better understanding of the resources, services, and programs that Richmond Public Library provides. They will be trained on communication, presentation and outreach skills and use these skills to conduct outreach to promote the library's resources, services, and programs to other members of the community.

Registration for the Spring 2026 cycle has now closed.

Please check https://newtobc.ca/ for Fall Cycle registration.
