I have read many books from the author Jodi Picoult, but it is best to say that Handle with Care is my all-time favourite book. The writing format was very well written as you were able to imagine yourself in each character's point of view…

I've read this book two times - once at 13 and once at 23 - I cried both times. Such a beautiful story and is so informative of the condition osteogenesis imperfecta.

One of the most horrible endings of any book I have ever read. It just did not fit at all. Not that any of the rest of the book was any good.

I am a somewhat fickle reader and it takes a lot for me to get into a book, but I seriously could not put it down. Chapters are short so it's easy to pick up and put down again. She tells it in the second-person narrative, which helps…

I've read and enjoyed most of Ms. Picoult's works. However, this one was a disappointment. First, it followed the formula of My Sister's Keeper. Secondly, the characters were not likeable, especially Charlotte. If you're new to this…

The characters were well written and the topics well researched. Unlike the other Picoult books I've read I was never rooting for Charlotte. The ending was both incredibly sad and awesomely poetic.

I love Jodi Picoult. I believe I've given every other book I've read by her 5 stars. This one was well written and clever. However, there were quite a number of parts that I really found difficult to believe. The description of OI was…

Handle with Care was another well written novel by Jodi Picoult. A heart wrenching story of Willow O'Keefe born with osteogenisis imperfecta from the perspective of her mother, father, sister and other characters. I could not put it down.

Such a good read as usual with Picoult. This book in particular deals with the question of who should be allowed to live (if such a question should evev be asked - the absurdity) and how "disabled" must a child be in order to not get to…

Picoult tackles some complex issues here--children with severe disabilities, "wrongful life" lawsuits, the prohibitive cost of health care, teenage eating disorders, and moral conflicts between motherhood, marriage, and friendship. She…

Best book I ever read

A story about a child born with OI. A horrific disease! As with all Picoult's books, the reader becomes totally familiar with the medical situations of the victims and fictional families on whom she bases her stories. There were other…

I very much enjoyed this book, but it was too similar to My sister's Keeper, living in its shadow a bit.

I really enjoyed this book but thought some parts could have been skipped. The author tells the story of a child with a rare disease and also tells how the other family members cope with it.Once again, this author springs an unexpected…

Great book. Ending was a surprise. Really felt for the characters and the hard struggles they face in day to day life.

LOVED the shocking ending, I had to re-read the end after I said WHHHHAT? to make sure that really happened. Not sure why, seemed sad the for sake of sad but a fun twist.

My first Jodi Picoult novel, recommended by a friend. I found it to be a fascinating read, hard to put down. The author manages to present each major character in a sympathetic way, despite them being in conflict. My only complaint is…

Well researched, well written, a page-turner (or one of those audiobooks that keep you sitting and listening in the car even after you have arrived), just like "My Sister's Keeper" - and that's my criticism: it's too much like My Sister's…

I like Jodi Picoult's books because she is able to present current ethical issues for individuals and families in an accessible way. 'Handle with Care' reminds me a lot of her previous best-seller about children and illness 'My Sister's…

This book was a very in depth read, Picoult writes in a way that i could quickly connect to the character and predict their feelings and actions. A very suspensful plot with all characters intertwined in some way. A great book.

This was my first Jodi Picoult. I enjoy her writing style, getting each characters' perspective. She really researchs her topics well. My nephew struggles with having OI, so this novel really touched home for me.

I disliked this book so much, that I skimmed through most of the second half. I wanted to see how it ended, which I also hated. The main character is so unlikeable, for treating her best friend so terribly for absolutely no reason that…

This book was very well written, and had me very interested. I could barely put it down, parts of the book had me making fists because I could feel a characters choice making me angry, but the story was very gripping, very emotional. But…
