I simply loved it. I dare anyone who reads this comment has to read the book also. Unless you already read Warriors and Wailers. I liked reading about the illegal jobs, but want a royal job. Trust me, i am not bad.

This book was extremely enjoyable. I gives an insight into ancient Chinese culture. Learning about my own background is important, and this book definitely gave me a starting point. It was very interesting to find many jobs that would be shunned from today's society. This book is a great read, and I would recommend it to anybody, especially teachers that are teaching Ancient Civilizations. (Like my old teacher)

This book was interesting to me. I liked it very much. I got bored a little bit at the beginning though. A fact for you, in the book: While the slaves were building the Great Wall of China, if someone died while building the wall, the other workers would just bury him with the rock.

Most of the jobs in this booki are really bad jobs that most people wouldn't want to have, but the way the author describes the jobs make them seem funny.

A very nice book to read. It really goes deep in detail to describe ancient Chinese jobs. But I think they should have a better ancient Chinese to modern English translation. Like yin or yang, if your not Chinese it's really hard to understand.
