The plot is fast paced and the situations conceived by a diabolical person. Myron and Win use humour to diffuse very grave situations and that keeps the book readable. Two six year old boys are kidnapped and a decade later Win and Myron…

Thought it was a neat ending, cool story - Good characters - but have only read this one, didn't realize it was apart of a series so found a lot of the beginning confusing.

I found most of the story boring and repetitive. Half was a rerun of Myron's family life which is repeated in all his stories. The only saving grace was a few snippets of Win, a more interesting character but not enough to carry the story.

I loved this book. It wasn't too intense but the storyline kept you reading until you finished it. I'm new to this author and I have really enjoyed the ones I've read.

I like reading books from this author. I believe maybe 1 or two got less than 3 stars but he is a good writer. I was happy to see all the characters in the book as well and how they all worked with each other. I was a little shocked on the…

I really like Coben's books - they're fast paced and well written with interesting characters. I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I liked how it was written in both Win and Myron's perspectives. It's worth reading.

When I first came across this author’s Myron Bolitar series, I enjoyed the combination of twisty thriller laced with humour. But as the series progressed, it became somewhat repetitious & the continuous pun-fest got old. “Live Wire” (book…

I always enjoy a good Harlan Coben novel. It started out with a bang, literally. Myron Bolitar & his friend, Win, have a lead on a 10 year old kidnapping of two young boys. A lot of twists & turns later, the kidnapping is solved.

I read this novel because Harlan Coben, an author I have enjoyed, wrote it. This novel focuses on his brutish muscle characters, Win and Myron, who solve the mystery of a disappearance of two 6 year old neighbor boys ten years before. The…

Just what the doctor ordered—self-effacing heroes who are nice to kids, nice to their parents, and who—when it comes to bad guys-- take no prisoners.
Lots of enjoyable tongue-in-cheek banter, an unpredictable ending and intermittent,…
