Footloose Scot is a historical record over 50 years of the travel experiences of Scots-born Jim Glendinning. It is part travel adventure memoir and part travel trade recollections. Glendinning's travel adventures include hitchhiking around post -war Europe in the 1950s, driving with his wife to India, joining a truck-load of adventuers driving through Africa, hiking 600 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail as well as through Panama's Darien Gap.
