The recipes are great and are the types of food I really like to cook. However, I was looking for a source on types of fresh food in season at each part of the year and recipes for them. While this has a few charts with that information, much of the book is spent on Chinese medicinal ideas. While I am trying to cut out processed industrialized foods from my diet for health, the focus on traditional medicine seems a little out there for me.
