This book is an incredible compendium of the earliest days of brewing in British Columbia practically to the present day. It is organized almost like a city directory, organized by cities and towns, and listed primarily in a chronological order (with name changes and parallel operations, it can easily get pretty complex.)
It also includes a rich centre section of full colour photographs, highlighting some of the unique beer labels this province has produced over the years, and it has a great introduction exploring the history of one of the earliest breweries, the Stanley Park Brewery (1896-1912)
This book is a rare find, printed in low numbers, and largely only available directly from the author. If you love local beer history, get yourself a copy today!
