In "Blue Herrings" we see one of the most tender treatments of death and the possibility of murder among senior citizens at a rest room. It is expected that these death rate of these people will be greater than the general population. Seniors do have memory problems that look more concentrated because they are all "old", unable to care for themselves. Some of them are afraid all the time. There is a murder here but not one to get at a possible inheritance. Tom, Jane, Cully, and Gavin give nice considerate performances here. Someday each of them could be in their own rest home.

This is less a murder mystery and more an exploration of the lives of the elderly. Good acting.
