My favorite of the trilogy ~ 420
Anyone who likes Eastwood westerns, or liked "A Fist Full of Dollars" or "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" will enjoy this film. An excellent "spaghetti" Western.
The problem with this disc is you will be watching a western on a small screen, probably due to the film's age and the way it was digitally transferred. The second problem is, somehow, I feel of all the Westerns that Sergio Leone directed, this is probably the weakest. Still, it is watchable for its dusty landscape, sweaty close-ups, and the musical score.
An excellent Western- true fans of the genre will appreciate this film. It's also one of Clint Eastwood's early film performances- classic.
Spaghetti, or not - I found this particular Western to be far too dissatisfying for my liking..... Well, what can I say? That's just the way I feel. I can't help it, you know.
One of the main reasons for my not liking this flick much was on account of there being no real hero in it. And, in my opinion, a Western must have its hero. It's a standard requirement, in my books.
And, for me, that Western-Hero must at least be a likable dude, too - Or, else, just forget it..... So, without the crucial element of a bona-fide hero in For A Few Dollars More, I just couldn't enjoy this particular Western as much as I'd have liked to.
This is a funny Western comedy parody. I enjoyed it greatly.
A great film in the "western" genre. The adversarial relationship between Monco & Mortimer gives way to guarded cooperation; as they pursue Indio their individual reasons for the bounty hunt are revealed.
One of the all time classic Westerns directed by Sergio Leone. This a must see for fans of Westerns.
One of my FAVORITE Westerns. I love Clint Eastwood in this, his performance was top notch. Epic film tho not as epic as Good the Bad and the Ugly which is also apart of this trilogy.
This is a classic Italian spaghetti western directed by Sergio Leone, originally released as motion picture in 1965.
Eastwood gives it his best shot along with scene stealer Lee Van Cleef, who helps make this film twice as good as its predecessor.
It is one of the best entertaining westerns ever made in the whole world.
