The story is good. It almost feels like there could be a sequel but I like that it's a one-off. The one issue I had was some of the dialog. How people talk with one another seemed off. It's hard to explain, but sometimes it would take me out of the story. Nevertheless, it was a great read, and would be enjoyable for anyone.

The first book from Eoin Colfer
I've ever read.
It is thrilling and I red it in about two weeks. The other thing is that I borrowed it from school.

We were pleasantly surprised by this book with its unexpected twists and turns. We found it quite enjoyable and learned a little bit about mining in the 19th century in a fun way, i.e. even learned a few history points. We would highly recommend this audiobook.

This youth book was a fun beach read for an adult. Great BOCD narrator. Moments of brilliance and humor, but not on a par with the spectacular Artemis Fowl series.
