Some people think "blue is sad like a lonely song," but this girl thinks blue is "happy like my favorite jeans and a splash in the pool on a hot day..." This is a great book to read with kids to help them understand that it's OK for people to think and feel differently about things.

It's neat to see how different people feel about colours and then think about how I feel about them - Ms. Mak

A really interesting look at traditional color concepts. The girl narrator associates colors with different emotions than they are traditionally associated with. Color plays a huge part in the illustrations (obviously).
