This was a very nice book! It is a lot like the Lemoncello books by Chris Grabenstein.
Winston Breen, a puzzle loving kid, gets to represent his school, along with his two best friends, Jake and Mal, and (unfortunately) a grumpy Math teacher, in a puzzle contest. The winning school gets $50,000! Winston and his friends realize that someone is cheating in the contest. Can they solve the REAL puzzle?
The Puzzling World of Winston Breen is a series of three books.

Really fun read for anyone who enjoys Sudoku or crossword puzzles. Highly recommended for anyone who is bored just reading a book, but wants to help solve mysteries, too.
