Tabitha Suzma did a fine job writing this book. I had fallen in love with the main characters Maya and Lochan. Albeit there is no exception for this love as I believe it is wrong, I still continued to read and tried to be sympathetic towards them. Up until where the tragedy occurred. I think this type of conclusion was unnecessary, or you could 've concluded it differently. Lochan did not seem like a character that would commit suicide. What's the message or motive behind it? The only one I'm getting is that their love was wrong, incest is wrong. Perhaps their story would have to come to an end, but I really think that suicide wasn't the perfect way to end it. - Lyla, age 12

I did not get past 100 pages in this book. The characters were not interesting to me.

Forbidden is a impeccably beautiful story of a romantic tragedy for siblings Maya and Lochan. Its realistic characters and fresh perspective keeps me coming back for another read. I love love love this book and highly recommend it. When people hear 'incest' when this book is described, they make a face and don't agree they'd find it a good read. But I promise you will understand and find these kids' confusion and desperate need to validate their love heart wrenching.

Love this book. Very interesting perspective. Not the usual romance and tragedy.

I loved this book. Quite frankly, I cried. This book tells the enthralling love story of Lochan and Maya, who encounter an incestual love that confuses the both of them. Great read.

Not normally what everyone wants to read or what they choose to read, but nevertheless it was Great. Simply Haunting at that.
