The Strokes' highly anticipated fourth album in five years features the single Under Cover of Darkness. This album was two years in the making after scrapping one set of sessions with one producer and then remaking the album on their own. The title of the album comes from five different musicians' points of view or angles. Everyone contributed in writing the ten songs.

The Strokes are pretty much legendary now, and even though this is arguably their worst album, it's still solid gold, if maybe just a little tarnished. Angles is all about tense, angular riffs. The guitars are bright and scratchy, the drums are tight and bouncy, and of course, Julian Casablancas' voice strains beautifully. If you're a fan of modern rock, check it out today!
