An amazing "career" where the "Doctor" is never down -- he invents radio advertising and, when they take away his radio station, he builds the first super-station in Mexico and introduces America to the Carter family. But some guys will wince at the medical details.

When the medical quackery of inserting goat glands - mainly testicles - into the human body sweeps the nation, the fake Dr. Brinkley ends up making millions. But it isn't until he is brought to task for his deeds, which include murder, by the AMA's Morris Fishbein that his empire comes crashing down. This reads like sci-fi, but has far reaching consequences in our own time with other quack rememdies and surgeries.
