A rather pedestrian look at one of the greatest comeback seasons in sports history - the 2004 Boston Red Sox that broke the so-called "Curse of the Bambino". The section on how the team overcame an 0-3 deficit to win the ALCS is well written, but the rest of the book begs to be skimmed over.
