Stevie Wonder was 23 when "Innervisions" was released in 1973, not that age matters that much when discussing Stevie Wonder. But it's worth bearing in mind that someone just three years removed from his teenage years made a work of such astonishing breadth and artistry --- and this album was by no means a fluke. "Golden Lady" in particular is a true masterpiece but you really can't go wrong with anything on this transcendent album.

Well, darlings - This is definitely Stevie Wonder at his wonderful best.

Celebrate Juneteenth and Black Music Month!
Listen to Stevie Wonder's music and you will spontaneously smile or possibly even dance!
This album includes the epic 8-minute song “Living for the City”, a profound and still relevant cautionary statement.
