A new series of global proportions -- from master of intrigue, NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Ally Carter.Grace Blakely is absolutely certain of three things:1. She is not crazy.2. Her mother was murdered.3. Someday she is going to find the killer and make him pay.As certain as Grace is about these facts, nobody else believes her -- so there's no one she can completely trust. Not her grandfather, a powerful ambassador. Not her new friends, who all live on Embassy Row. Not Alexei, the Russian boy next door, who is keeping his eye on Grace for reasons she neither likes nor understands.Everybody wants Grace to put on a pretty dress and a pretty smile, blocking out all her unpretty thoughts. But they can't control Grace -- no more than Grace can control what she knows or what she needs to do. Her past has come back to hunt her . . . and if she doesn't stop it, Grace isn't the only one who will get hurt. Because on Embassy Row, the countries of the world stand like dominoes, and one wrong move can make them all fall down.

All Fall Down is the first book in the Embassy Row series. Embassy Row refers to a group of embassies that are all lined up in a row in the country of Adria. The main character, Grace, has come to live with her grandfather who serves as US Ambassador in the American Embassy. Grace's mother was recently killed in a fire. Grace believes she was murdered, but her entire family has spent months trying to convince her that her mother's death was an accident. Throughout the book, there are twists and turns, and we are never quite sure until the end whether Grace is crazy or not. The story was not what I expected, especially a rather heart-wrenching ending without a suggestion of where the series will go from here. I'm not even sure if I want to continue reading it.

Grace Olivia Blakely is not crazy. She watched her mother die. She saw a scarred man kill her. No matter how many times she repeats this, no one will believe her. It was an accident, they say. They tell her there was no scarred man. But there's no one that can be trusted.

One night, at a party, she sees a man with a scar running down one side of his face. Grace knows for sure that this was the man that murdered her mother. Everybody tells her that she is being paranoid, that she is going crazy, but Grace won’t stop until she has the truth.

This novel was astonishing and I couldn’t put it down. This would be a great book for anyone who craves adventure and mystery.

I tried, but I couldn't find myself interested in the story. The chapters weren't really explaining itself; it's not a book you could just grab and start reading, you'd have to read the front and back and even then you'd be like "What the heck? I don't understand?"

A 2017-2018 Truman Readers Award nominee (grades 6-8). Grace believes that she saw a man kill her mom. Her family says that's not true, but she doesn't believe them, and she is determined to find the killer.

Tbh, I didn't really like this at all... Too many characthers were introduced and the author tried to hard to make the mc seem 'badass'. Even the antoginist seemed off. Also, their were too many ideas crammed into one book. The 'embassy row' stuff was cool, but why was there a murder mystery added to it as well? On top of that, the mc makes like 3 friends at the start who barley get any lines. Maybe my standards are too high amd that's why I didn't like it? Anyways, dropped it near the beginning.

This is full of unexpected scenes and has every element that good fiction should have: comedy, romance, drama and cliff hangers galore. The plot is packed with suspense and girl power!

A very gripping, fast-paced story with tons of action and even more heart. Great story that will keep you on the edge until the very last page. An intense read, both in action and in emotion.

This books is very exciting and relatively fast paced. The embassy setting pairs a luxurious, Gossip Girl-esque lifestyle with international intrigue.

I really like the embassy row theme, it was very interesting. I admired Grace's strong and determined personality and how she stays calm under fire. But I think she should be a little less impulsive and stay calm instead of raging if she wants people to take her seriously and help her. I also think she was kind of harsh on Lila when she first met her. Grace had only just met Lila and she jumped to conclusions, assuming that Lila was a horrible person because of what she looked like, and she wasn't that bad. Also, I really loved the surprise ending.
