When patients who are recovering and on the road to being discharged start dying, the Women's Murder Club steps in. Nobody wants to admit that something is going on. But the ladies know better. This is the fifth book in this series and I am looking forward to book six.
80 chapters in and loving this book cant wait to read the rest love this book
After some truly exceptional books, Patterson has consistently delivered entertaining, readable books that are good. Nothing truly exceptional about them and perfect for a plane ride, an afternoon at the beach, or light reading but not something that will stay in my memory as one of my favorites
Great read - really enjoy how the 4 friends blend!
A++ All the way….A must have Book in all Libraries - worth the long library wait and WORTH the cost of owing!
i love lindsay
James Patterson is a publisher's dream. He produces two hugely popular mystery/thriller series that routinely hit the best seller lists. He even makes appearances on Castle.
5th Horsman is the fifth (how appropriate) installment in his Women's Murder Club series. It finds our four female protagonists dealing with three concurrent cases; a hospital malpractice suit, a murder spree in the same hospital and a series of deaths of young escorts.
And that is the problem with this book. There is too much going on. By packing more action than a Bruckheimer movie into 410 pages, Patterson (and co-author Maxine Paetro) sacrifice things like character development. It would have been a far better book if we had only had the hospital malpractice/hospital murder plot and they left the escort murders for another book.
The book is also a very quick read. With chapters lasting three or four pages at most, a strong reader can plow through this book in less than a day. Not high literature, but a fun way to spend a few hours.
I love this author.
