We were given this book as a gift and despite being a bibliophile, if I ever tossed a book, it would be this one. The writing and rhymes are cringe-worthy. I can't believe an editor approved this. Clark the shark learns that it's better to be a shadow of himself in order to gain societal approval....?

Clark the Shark is excited about everything and forgets to control himself. His loud voice and bad manners annoy his classmates. His teacher motivates him to change is behavior by creating a rhyme which leads to more changes in his behavior. The rule is to stay COOL!

Great book for the kid that means well but is just a bundle of energy! Interjects rhyming phrases to help Clark remember to "Stay Cool"!
