With the death of Michael Bond recently, I am reminiscing on how much I liked the Paddington Bear books as a child. Sweet, whimsical reads about a bear from deepest darkest Peru.

Cute book. When my kids were about 3, 5, and 7 we tried listening to the audiobook but it was a little dry for kids that age. Then, since watching the movie, which I loved, I decided to read it myself, and I liked it. I'm guessing some kids will love it, and some will have trouble getting into it.

Finally read it - it was pretty cute and whimsical, though not a patch on Winnie-the-Pooh.
