The Israeli Solution

A One-state Plan for Peace in the Middle East

The reigning consensus in elite and academic circles is that the United States must seek to resolve the Palestinians' conflict with Israel by implementing the so-called two-state solution. The great irony is that the two-state solution is one of the most irrational and failed policies the United States has ever adopted.

The Israeli Solution traces the history and false assumptions this two-state policy is based upon, most notably the huge errors made in counting the actual numbers of Jews and Arabs in the region. And after explaining 90 years of failed policy in the region, The Israeli Solution offers an alternative way toward stability that includes a strident call for Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

I found the book to be terrible. Where it doesn't border on hate speech, it crosses over to being really quite bigoted. The history it presents is slanted in one direction.

The whole premise of this book rides on the actual number of Palestinians in the West Bank. If it's the lowball the author suggests, then it could possibly work. If it is the high end based on Palestinian census data, it would mean the end of Israel as we know it. It's a well thought out thesis, but it is simply not practical.
