Easy Growing: Organic Herbs, Edible Flowers from Small Spaces. --- by. --- Gayla Trail.
Targeting the novice gardener, this small volume is an A to Z primer on everything you need to know about growing herbs. And I do mean everything. From soil amendment to raised beds; from selecting plants to dealing with the nasties that lie in wait for your plants; from harvesting to preserving.
Colourful photographs illustrate a sizable section that deals with each herb plant you might grow, identifying such things as height at maturity; appropriate sowing times; and any other information that might be specific to the plant.
Lots of tables: leaf colour; harvest chart; weedyness of herbs. Even a few recipes.
A good handbook. A good book to peruse in January.

Wow! I have to get my hands on this again. I think I forgot to write down a recipe.

Great book with amazing photos and wonderful details on how the plants thrive. It even has a section on aphid soapy spray which I always forget.

Oh darn I forgot to write it down again, I either have to get this at a book store or see if I can order it again.
