Quite a remarkable book. Its a fascinating collection of Da Vinci's notes and incredibly useful to studying artists to contemplate the concepts he discusses. A focus on light, shadow, form and perspective are incredibly in depth, and that only a third of the way into the book. The editor has done a wonderful job amalgamating and organizing the translations of all the various notes and studies.
