The fourth and final installment in the Real Mermaids series, this book finds Jade and her friends on vacation in the Bahamas, with mysterious events prompting them to find out what is going on. I decided to read this book only for the sake of finishing off the series, but it wasn't the best one and it dragged and lagged, as the story progressed very slowly with most of the action only starting to happen in the last few chapters. The first three books were very exciting and I read through them quickly, but this one lacked the intrigue and action the other books had. It wasn't great, it's too bad the series ended like this.

Sexual Content: This is only like one kiss but i just put this notice for the younger children. some parents are picky about what their children hear, see, and read. So yeah

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Their isn't too much frightening, but like i mentioned before, some parents are picky. For example, there is a scene with police and a bad guy chasing after a good guy, like things like that. So not bad, but like i said, some parents are a little more picky.

Summary from the author's website:

Jade can’t think of a better way to celebrate her newly reunited family than with a tropical wedding in the Bahamas with Mom and Dad to finally make their family ‘official’.

Soon, Jade is enjoying the tropical sunshine, all-you-can-eat buffet, and island day trips. But when Jade witnesses a person getting thrown overboard as a cruise ship enters the harbor, things go from sunny to sinister.

With no body, no leads, and no other witnesses, though, the local police don’t seem too concerned. Maybe Jade’s imagination has been acting up on her, just like Cori said.

But with Mom and Dad off on a honeymoon excursion it wouldn’t hurt to check things out, would it?
