Too many words. Not enough happening.

I really enjoyed this book! It was a page turner that I didn't want to put down. I liked Rachel and Andy, the two main characters in the book. It took me a minute or two to get used to the travel back and forth but once I got used to it I really liked it. I enjoy reading books by Jennifer Weiner, the author. I love her style of writing.

Jennifer Weiner's writing is so smooth that you don't even realize the passage of time. It's not an adrenaline- pumping book but it still gathers you in and makes it hard to put down. Moving back and forth between two characters and multiple time lines is tricky for most authors to do well, but she makes it seem effortless. Witnessing the two protagonists evolve was a real treat!

A story about how the people you love can change the course of your life forever.
It meandered a lot, but then life does that, doesn’t it?
By the time I’d gotten to the end, I’d forgotten many of the events in the middle.
Gonna read a Jodi Picoult novel now to see whether it is just a phase I’m in - not caring much about characters - or the author’s style. (After reading the Jodi Picoult novel I realize she has just spoiled me for other authors).

Loved this story..Loved the back and forth to show the history and the added little details.

Jennifer Weiner never fails me when I want a good read. This one takes a couple from teen years to adulthood. It would even be good for a sophisticated Teen, (there is some sex in it, but no more than some Teen novels I've read).

I enjoyed this book. It was always interesting as the story wove between Rachel and Andy in different phases of their lives. Sometimes they were together and then they were apart.
I've always enjoyed this author, but I think I enjoyed this book the most.
