Don't know why I hadn't read this author before ....he is really good.
The protagonist , flawed but likeable tries to re-ignite his life to connect with his son and ex-wife. He hides his newly diagnosed MS from everyone...even himself-ever the tough guy. Witty, funny and even charming he pushes on in a very real way.
Until two cruel outbursts from the ex alter his life sooner in a tragic way.GASTON is a gem- more of us should get to know this fellow Canadian..because he is simply that good.
