I didn't really like this book and found it boring that I skipped the third book altogether. I really liked Dork Diaries though and thought this book was okay. I enjoyed the concept of how it had one story basically split into three.

It’s good I guess, but I wish there wasn’t any cliffhanger. To be honest I really just think Dork Diaries is a Better book to read. I mean these days boys don’t want to be superheroes anymore, they want to be a pro gamer at fortnite! I’ll admit some of the scenes cracked me up but like everyone else said, it’s very unrealistic.

It was okay, but it was unrealistic and he seemed more like a girl than a boy. There is a lot of dramatic scenes and weird characters. I feel like the author is only writing this series to make money off of it... I don't know, I might be wrong! ;)

I like this book, but overall I just wish that Max would act like a middle school boy. It doesn't seem realistic enough.

Read this book after my daughter and was entertained. It did leave me hanging so now I'll have to read the next one. Max didn't seem like a typical or even atypical middle school boy, though.

I thought this book was a nice easy read! Overall I liked the book, but wished the author made Max more relatable to a boy his age! It was still a good funny read. But was expensive for the level and quality!
