Terrible, terrible, terrible! More than misogynistic, it was extremely cruel to women. I would never recommend this film to anyone!!!!

This is a very odd film that plays like a home movie. A French couple visit a small town in what looks like Texas and he gets so drunk he tries raping her in the hotel room. She fights back and beats him over the head with the lamp, then takes the car and runs, assuming he is dead. Miles down the road, and I think in another state, she is pulled over as the car has been reported stolen. She has blood on her sleeve and assumes she's being arrested for murder, so she tells the Sheriff everything. He makes a few calls and verifies that she is the wife of the registered renter of the vehicle, who is very much alive, and lets her go. Instead of going back, she gets a ride with a motorcyclist with creepy died hair (silver beard, black hair? ew). I couldn't watch anymore. It is soooooo boring.
