This kind of stuff, Edward Bernays-styled propaganda, is beyond stupid, beyond simpleton, beyond moronic, and utterly tasteless in its amorality. When one-half or more of NEW IT HIRES are foreign visa replacment workers [i.e., non-citizens] then this isn't even a possible topic of debate. I am unsure - - and not for want of trying - - of how or even if, those foreign visa workers are classified and qualified, but data suggesting a lack of women and minorities, when numerous IT shops around the country, and most certainly Seattle and Boston, are staffed ENTIRELY by foreign visa workers from INDIA, then what are these fictional shows, dishonestly portrayed as non-fiction, for?!?!?!?
So are these people daring to suggest Group Health's IT department is lacking in women and minorities when its vast majority is INDIAN??? Ditto so many other companies and IT shops, et cetera!
FAKE NEWs, pure and simple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[Are we to believe these twits have never even heard of the Lebowitz Youtube, where the attorney, Lebowitz, is giving a seminar on HOW NOT TO HIRE AMERICAN PROGRAMMERS???]
