Byron Barton's books are wonderful! He can take a subject that otherwise is difficult for young children to understand and make it very understandable and enjoyable for young 3-6 year olds. I used his books in my preschool teaching with great success. The children learned so much about the various subjects he presents in his books and they enjoyed them!!

The introduction of story is attractive, make readers surprise. Let's dig, dig, dig...and get many many bones of many kinds of dinosaurs...

Surprisingly effective introduction to paleontology for toddlers with bright, simple illustrations. Helped stimulate discussion and further interest in the topic in our 3-year-old.
