Weaving between the past and present, this story orbits around the horrifying day of 9/11. Two girls whose paths had never seemed to be able to cross intersected after the catastrophe and changed both of their lives forever. This heart-wrenching story shows the power of hatred and love, violence and peace, and brings back to life one of the milestones in our lives. Beautifully written, I think you will find this book a page-turner and a haunting rewrite of one of the world's biggest tragedies.

Seemed very promising. Two girls narrate their story, one in the past and one in the present. It quickly got confusing. Both stories were interesting but switching off stories constantly made it too jumbled. DNF
