David Bezmozgis brings us a new collection of short stories, his first in more than decade. In 'Immigrant City', Bezmozgis pleads no special causes but presents immigrant characters with all their contradictions and complexities, their earnest and divided hearts. Bezmozgis has been twice nominated for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and the Governor General's Literary Award, and his debut story collection, 'Natasha and Other Stories', won the Toronto Book Award and the Commonwealth Writer's Prize for First Book. He lives in Toronto, ON.
