A brilliant and totally honest movie about a pair of poor, white trash sociopathic jailbirds, and a girl who falls in love with the title character.

Everyone involved in this movie was extremely brave to present this heinous gore rampage as honestly as possible, without bowing to good taste.

When it comes to the subject matter, there is no "good taste."

Henry: A Putrid Portrait Of A Piece Of Pure Excrement._____ If this film was really supposed to be an example of an in-depth character study of a serial killer, then, as that study, it was utterly worthless 'cause Henry literally had no character to study. Nope. He sure didn't. He was nothing but a completely colourless, humourless, one-dimensional, non-entity._____ I found it quite puzzling that the approach in which Henry took to killing people was like that of one performing a totally hated job. If killing people was really Henry's "thing" (and this seemed to be the case), then, why the hell didn't the lust & passion of killing show in his murderous actions?_____ This decidedly unpleasant movie about a brain-dead serial killer and his brain-dead friends and his brain-dead life (ho-hum!) gave me a serious case of brain-freeze._____ On top of its stifled dialogue, its annoyingly wooden performances, and its recklessly seedy production values, "Henry" was certainly the absolute shittiest portrait of a serial killer that I've ever seen. It was nothing but a predictable paint-by-numbers picture whose intended shock-value completely missed the mark. And, with that, it inevitably failed to deliver much of a worthwhile jolt. All it did was aggravate and bore this viewer to pieces.

Very dated film about the lives of serial killers Henry Lee Lucas and (his buddy/lover) Otis O'Toole. Totally underwhelming movie. Didn't creep me out, not particularly gory, no deep philosophical questions were posed, nada. Waste of time, really.
