Interesting collection of essays from diverse voices about different bodies. Anywhere from scoliosis to excess body hair to cancer to degenerative diseases to fatness. Out of the 37 voices, 3 of them were about scoliosis, when I really think one or at most two would have sufficed. I had picked up this book expecting there to be more about trans bodies, particularly since several of the contributors were trans themselves. Really other than Gavin Grimm's essay on how to treat trans people, there was nothing about trans bodies. I know some trans kids who I think really would like to see themselves in a book about radical anatomy, but that won't happen with this book. Criticisms aside, the book was interesting and the unique voices were enjoyable (some laugh out loud funny), opening my eyes to some people's experiences I had never really thought about before.
