I've not read the book but the fact that Edward Klein describes Obama as 'ideologically far to the left' makes me dismiss it outright. Now that we're on the crest of his possible second term, we've come to learn that Obama is not liberal enough for the progressives, and not conservative enough for the Tea Party Congress. In the end, he's very centrist. Though he does sympathize with the social issues that mean a lot to me, gay rights as far marriage, serving in the military and bullying as well women's health care, he's been pretty tough killing Bin Laden and using drones to get Al Qeada extremists, unfortunately killing innocent people along the way.
