Sci Fi isn't my typical cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Ready Player One audiobook. 2 main reasons: 1) This was aimed directly at my generation. I was a teenager when video game arcades became popular. While I wasn't the world's biggest gamer or computer enthusiast, I recognized most of the pop culture references; the favorite movies named were some of my favorites of the time, so this was a real walk down memory lane. 2) Wil Wheaton was a brilliant narrator. I especially like that he doesn't take himself too seriously; he's on the receiving end of plenty of jokes these days and gets a couple references in this story which he plays with appropriately. The story was a pretty silly in many places, even completely suspending disbelief, but it was fun.
