Actually, this (historical romance) story is pretty good. It starts off really well but then gets a little silly but there are some interesting factoids. For example, women using face powders containing arsenic, unusual (but deadly) cures for syphilis and my all time favorite: "I am a gentleman, sir, you may take my word upon my honor". Yeah, right! The class system in England is very well depicted here as well as the underlying hatred for the gentry.
