I read this on another Overdrive. Weirdest book ever, yet I can relate to the character. Didn't the author think the "fat girl" deserved better than that in the end? Did the author think because she is fat that is all she deserves? The girl has no moral compass. She seems much older than only 15. The book is sort of an abomination but also faces reality (some children have no friends, some children feel like boarders in their own home, some children have no friends and will befriend an adult who seems a kind of misfit for attention.)
